Since its beginning in 2002, the GRANDfamilies program has become the voice for kinship families in Utah, as well as experts on navigating challenges unique to these families. They offer support groups/educational classes for caregivers, adolescents, and children, that have helped many kinship families in a variety of areas.

The topics for the 10-week support group include:
