Multicultural Counseling Center

MCC provides individual, couples and family therapy in both English and Spanish. All our therapists are native Spanish speakers.

At Multicultural Counseling Center we believe that all individuals regardless of their trials in life deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We believe that all human relationships lie within a complex systems structure that involves family, institutions, and society. We believe in providing services that recognize the impact of trauma and its rippled effect. We believe in restorative care and the ability of humans to adapt and adjust. We believe in holistic wellness model that addresses all areas impacting well- being starting with ensuring all individuals have their basic needs met.

Services

  • Therapy: Therapy (or psychotherapy) is the process of working with a licensed therapist or counselor to develop positive thinking and coping skills to treat specific mental health conditions like depression or anxiety, trauma, or simply the daily human challenges we all face. (talkspace.com) At MCC, we offer individual, children, and couples therapy.
  • Groups: Group therapy, is a type of psychological therapy that is conducted with a group of people. Usually, people in the group are facing similar issues, like anxiety or addiction, parents of children who have been sexually molested and domestic violence survivors.
  • Skills Counseling: The main purpose of skills counseling is to aid in clients treatment to recover and function at their optimal capacity by learning about their mental illness, empowerment, building self-esteem and confidence, connecting with themselves and others, and gaining meaningful life by learning essential skills, using a holistic approach.
  • Family Support Services: Family Support Services offers support, education, and advocacy to individuals and their families. Family Support Services includes the following services: Peer Support and Case Management.
  • Telehealth Counseling: Telehealth is a more affordable, convenient and discrete method of receiving therapy. We offer this service for individual and couples.
  • Immigration: The Immigration Services Departmen assists individuals and families in their immigration process. If your attorney has requested that you obtain a psychological assessment from an immigration assessment clinician, we are here to help you with these services. We have a vast experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
