New Horizons Crisis Center

New Horizons Crisis Center has parenting classes for mothers and fathers of the public. The support groups are for the women in shelter and at the same time the children are in there own group. New Horizons offers crisis counseling, classes, support groups, and speakers on relevant topics. They help past and current victims and their families, as well as offer prevention programs. They can help with law enforcement, accompany you to court, or even just help you fill out forms.

Services Include: 24/7 crisis hotline, 24/7 emergency/safe shelter, victim advocate services, protective orders, and legal clinic.

Classes and Groups: Support Groups, Parenting, and Children

Survivors can get assistance with the following:

  • Rent Assistance
  • Utilities
  • Moving Expenses
  • Childcare Expenses
  • Hotel/Motel Vouchers
  • Transportation (Bus fare, fuel)
  • Drivers licenses, birth certificates, etc.

The Crisis Center's hotline is answered 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our staff is available to help you escape an abusive environment or just to talk about the various options that may be available to you, and support your right to make informed decisions for yourself and your children. All services provided by New Horizons are free and confidential.
