The Learning Center for Families

The mission of the Learning Center for Families is to "promote the success of children one family at a time." We are a private, non-profit health, social service and school readiness agency. Our programs serve families in Washington County, Utah and the Arizona Strip. All services are based on eligibility and are provided at no cost* to the family.

Caterpillar Clubhouse is a forward thinking Early Childhood Development Center that promotes optimal development with high-quality care and learning opportunities that help your child receive the best possible start in life.

Early Intervention provides services to children in Washington County Utah, and Northern Arizona who are showing any kind of developmental delay or who have a condition strongly linked with developmental delay such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or Autism. TLC for Families' Early Intervention staff includes nurses, special educators, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and speech, physical and occupational therapists.

Early Head Start serves low-income pregnant women and children ages birth to three, in Washington County Utah, Northern Arizona, and towns along the Arizona Strip. It is a comprehensive family development program
that promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of infants and toddlers to ensure their school readiness.
Families are chosen based on seriousness of need. Outreach is conducted throughout our service

Parent and family activities

Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an early childhood family support and
parent education home-visiting model. Families may enroll in Parents as
Teachers beginning with pregnancy and may remain in the program
until the child enters kindergarten.

Parent educators work with parents to strengthen protective factors
and ensure that young children are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
