We believe that children and families have inherent strengths. Rather than focusing on what’s wrong, our approach is to utilize our clients’ strengths to resolve difficulties. Our job is to help uncover and enhance capabilities.
Coordinating with Other Professionals
We team up with pediatricians, family physicians, teachers, school counselors, and others to support families and unite in helping children in different settings.
Neuropsychological/ Psychological Testing Team
Our testing team has expertise in a variety of issues related to young children and teens, including:
developmental concerns or possible developmental delays in children of all ages
neurological concerns that may have resulted from physical injury or medical problems
learning disabilities or other academic concerns including ADHD and dyslexia
autism spectrum disorders
medical issues that may interfere with development
risks of sexual recidivism*

The following is a list of some of the problems we address (it is not a complete list of everything we do):
behavioral difficulties that interfere with school success
peer relationship issues
attention and impulse concerns
infant and child attachment concerns
issues with younger children, such as nightmares, bedtime, and toileting
depression and anxiety concerns
suicidal assessment related to depression
grief and loss issues
adoption issues for children, parents, and families
intense or perfectionist children
discipline concerns or frustrations with ineffective discipline methods
family concerns linked to a child’s way of interacting
negativity and poor self-esteem in children and teens
families experiencing divorce
children with health concerns or chronic medical conditions

PDA Autism and PTSD

Now offering Autism Spectrum Disorder screenings by our neuropsychologist who is specifically an Autism Specialist. Please call our main line and ask for a neuropsychological evaluation and explain that you think your child might have Autism. All of our neuropsychological testing is done at our Taylorsville office.
