Sarah was born in Michigan but has lived in Utah for most of her life. She graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies in 2021, and has since gained experience engaging with youth in a variety of settings. Sarah worked with DCFS for 4 years in a few different roles; along the way, she learned how the child welfare system works and just how much she loves connecting with youth in foster care. When the opportunity to work with Raise the Future arose, she knew this was the right step for advancing her career. When Sarah isn’t working, she is most likely at the gym, playing pickleball, or walking her dog! She also loves working as a barista on the weekends, so let her know if you need a new coffee or matcha order!
