Children who qualify for Medicaid as part of an adoption assistance agreement receive outpatient mental health services under Medicaid from community mental health centers as part of a Prepaid Mental Health Plan (PMHP). If you would like to have your child seen by a mental health provider other than those on this list you will need to become carved out of the prepaid mental health plan.
